The ice-strengthened offshore support vessel (OSV) <<MAERSK MASTER>>, IMO6409379, circa the 1980’s and as she appeared during her service with the ice cowboys – who were active in Southern latitudes during this time in the highly specialised work of towing icebergs out of shipping lanes.  An impressive feat of marine engineering, not to mention seamanship, for any vessel to move more than 10 million tonnes of sea ice. Commissioned as a gift for a former skipper of the vessel, who suffice to say probably has some very interesting stories to tell!  This subject being an especially unusual one - a special thanks is due to Mr. Leen Boers, of MAERSK OSV Modelling, Holland, for his very generous and expert assistance with technical references, which were otherwise scant.
